Welcome to our site


Semiahmoo Yacht Club is located at the Canadian border, next to the destination resort at Semiahmoo, on Drayton Harbor in Blaine, Washington. The Club has 350 members from across the United States and British Columbia. We enjoy a breath-taking setting with stunning views of Mt. Baker, the Olympics, and the Coast Mountain Range in British Columbia. In addition, we have easy access to the beautiful San Juan and Gulf Islands, and the majesty of Vancouver Island.
In addition to cruising, members enjoy weekly Nauti-Friday cook-outs from June through September and monthly restaurant dinner get-together's from October through May. We celebrate Opening Day in early May and enjoy an Ox Roast in July, Crab Feed in September, and our elegant Commodore’s Ball in November. The calendar year ends with the traditional Lighted Boat Sailpast in December. We savor the adventure and fellowship of our cruises, which are planned from May through October. As part of Yachting Club of America, SYC members have access to more than 850 reciprocal slips as we travel. This benefit quickly offsets our modest cost of membership.

Westwind Marine would like to welcome all members of the Semiahmoo Yacht Club to use our excellent facilities. To make your experience easier we now offer return shuttle service to your marina, a minimum order applies. In addition, to engine work, we install diesel or propane heat, bow & stern thrusters, sanitation systems, and many other accessories.

Our Polish and detail work is outstanding. Eric's fiberglass and gelcoat work is often undetectable when he is finished and Sheila's canvas work has won several awards. Our heated shop can accommodate vessels up to 45 feet.
