In addition to cruising, members enjoy weekly Nauti-Friday cook-outs from June through September and monthly restaurant dinner get-together's from October through May. We celebrate Opening Day in early May and enjoy an Ox Roast in July, Crab Feed in September, and our elegant Commodore’s Ball in November. The calendar year ends with the traditional Lighted Boat Sailpast in December. We savor the adventure and fellowship of our cruises, which are planned from May through October. As part of Yachting Club of America, SYC members have access to more than 850 reciprocal slips as we travel. This benefit quickly offsets our modest cost of membership.
