Westwind Marine would like to welcome all members of the Semiahmoo Yacht Club to use our excellent facilities. To make your experience easier we now offer return shuttle service to your marina, a minimum order applies. In addition, to engine work, we install diesel or propane heat, bow & stern thrusters, sanitation systems, and many other accessories.

Our Polish and detail work is outstanding. Eric's fiberglass and gelcoat work is often undetectable when he is finished and Sheila's canvas work has won several awards. Our heated shop can accommodate vessels up to 45 feet.

The Month Of February 2010:

SYC and Birch Bay Village Get Together, March 12th

The Birch Bay Village Yacht Club has cordially invited us to join them for a night of fun, dancing, drinks and eats at the Birch Bay Village Club House on Friday March 12, 2010.  Double Trouble will be playing some of your favorites.  Paper, plastic products and ice will be provided by the Birch Bay Village Yacht Club. The Birch Bay Village Yacht Club is also providing dessert and coffee.

For any SYC members wishing to come by sea, your reciprocal privileges are of course still active at Birch Bay Village Yacht Club.  BBVYC has approx 150 Feet  of guest moorage available.  As you come into the channel, the first dock on your starboard side is designated guest moorage, up to the gas dock.  It's a short walk to the clubhouse.

For our Odd Nauti-Friday March 19th we have reservations at Packers Restaurant at the Semiahmoo Resort and Hotel.  They will have an area set up for us.  We can order anything we want off the menu.  Start time is 5:30PM hope to see lots of you there.  Thanks,

SYC Annual General Meeting, Sat., Mar. 27

The Board is gearing up for an amazing 'Boating' year, which will surely be 'North of Your Expectations'!

Along with everything else we are busy doing, we are planning our first official get-together, which is our Annual General Meeting on March 27th, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. in the Discovery Theater, Semiahmoo Resort.

Below, you will find a Proxy form to use if you are unable to attend this meeting, and the items you will be voting on (Minutes of the various meetings, and the proposed budget), are also listed below.

We really encourage everyone to attend this meeting, as this is the one time when you will have the opportunity to ask questions of the Board, and meet all the people you haven't seen for a while...plus our new Members!
