SYC now has it's own private Geocache on Sucia Island.  Several members who attended the Sucia Island & Shrimp Boil Cruise searched for the cache.  We will leave the cache on Sucia for the remainder of the boating season.  Please remember to sign the journal and take an object from the cache and return an item of equal or greater value.  If you are new to Geocaching you will find an article about it on page 159 in your 2011 SYC Annual.  I encourage you to leave your comments in regard to the hide on this webpage.

You will start your search at the following coordinates:  N  48* 45.198’ and: W 122* 54.253’

Head in a NW direction down the dirt road.  Soon after leaving the trail head, you will know if you have taken the right path when you see a tall Y just off the right side of the road.  You will find the cache just off the right hand side at coordinates:   N 48* 334’ and
W 54* 516’

Your hint is: Look for the cache at the base of Ole’ Stumpy.
