Open all year, day use and overnight mooring and camping. The park has 16 buoys. Restrooms are located upland, but because of limited water supply there are no showers. Mooring buoys usually fill up quickly, but anchoring is good as long as your anchor is properly set. A saltwater lagoon, fed from the north side, is in the middle of the spit. Crabbing is good here, so bring your crab bait and pots.
