Join us for our always popular shake-down cruise to Fossil Bay and Shrimp Boil ....

For those of you attending , we have received positives from 18 people and here's our idea of the itinerary: We'll arrive late Wednesday or early Thursday, do some shrimping and Ling Cod fishing (they're open now!) Followed by another run Friday and ultimately (here's where you come in...) DOCKTAILS please bring something to support same, plus your appetizers of course !! Saturday, we'll do something artistic as groups, then Shrimp Boil early afternoon, some have to leave before dark so we want to feed them before they leave. Please bring a potluck dish, salad or desert to support the shrimp boil. Sunday AM will be the omelet in a bag , with left over shrimp, etc. We'll furnish the omelet. Coffee and muffins will be provided each morning !! Any questions, send us an email before Wed Morning.
Cheers,

Bob and Patti Webber

Weather providing, Bob will be at Sucia a couple of days early to share his art of prawn fishing). Please make sure you have a current shellfish lisence. Facilities include dock space, mooring buoys, toilets, porta-potty dump. You will find water, but not power or showers.

The park has a day use/picnic area, with picnic shelters which are on the neck of land separating Echo Bay and Shallow Bay. The park has several miles of hiking trails and service roads. The most developed factilities are at Fossil Bay. Fresh water is available April through September at Fossil Bay and near Shallow Bay.

Fossil Bay is easy to enter, nicely protected and beautiful. Anchor out, tie to one of the mooring buoys or moor at the docks. Depths in Fossil Bay at zero tide are 6 feet at the outer end of the innermost dock, and they shoal rapidly toward the head of the bay. Depths are only 5 feet at zero tide near the outer dock, so be careful on low tides.
