Early response is needed for dinner and theater tickets to see Guys & Dolls at the Chemainus Theater on the 12th. Al Oakley has reserved 20 seats for the matinee on Aug. 12th. The group cost per person is $42.22 for theatre. If anyone would like to have the lunch buffet as well, the total cost per person is $63.26. SYC members need to call or email Gail Ramsey directly to book, and payment is taken at the time of booking. Tickets are nonrefundable. If any of the seats haven't been paid for by July 28th (ten business days before the show date), they will be released.

This is the marina at the back of the bay. There is at least a fathom of water at the docks on all tides. The marina is open 7 day a week, Easter through September. There is 15 & 30 amp power, washrooms, showers, laundry, BroadbandXpress wireless internet, and gasoline & diesel at the fuel dock.

There is a farmers market held 10:00-12:00 on Sundays. The general store carries convenience groceries, charts and gifts, and Barbara’s homemade pies. The Burgees by the Bay coffee shop serves sandwiches, breakfast, light suppers and pizza. The stores hard ice cream milk shakes, sundaes and ice cream specialities are not to be missed. This is a clean and well-maintained marina. There is a playground for kids, a large covered area for group functions and a picnic area with tables and barbecues. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the ferry.
